I don't know what happened over the weekend. don't need to know. If something terrible happened I'm sorry to hear it. If the trolls were out, I'm glad I missed them.
I have fun here. I enjoy the stuff I read and answer. even the questions about some of the newer stuff. I especially enjoy seein' people who really love the music having fun and enjoyin' themselves and being willing to put themselves out there with stuff they know about the Classics.

My point::: I aint gonna let all these trolls and the bickering that maybe goin' on, ( that I guess I'm just too dense to see, what with bein' a crazy hefer and all), Stop me from enjoyin' myself here and "meetin" some really decent,kind, smart folks, ( old farts or not).


Are You gonna let someone else ruin the good things goin' on here in the music section, especially when the good things are about Classic Country.??????????????????? for yourself?

You know, I've mentioned this before. I do not claim to know everything about country music. I'll admit I like to google, and I could careless if when I ask a question, You google or not. Some of you on here no a lot more than I do. That's why I like coming here, so i can pick at your brain for a little bit of knowledge, something that I didn't know before. At first it was all fun and games. But lately it's like we are all taking sides, this is becoming more like "Let's see who can beat who" We have all lost our sense of direction, we lost what we came here to do and that is to help Okie and Tommy talk about and keep alive Classic Country. I'll even go as far as saying Keeping all country alive because whether we like it or not... These newbies are playing some good music. I'd to hate to see any of the regulars leave, but that's a decision that each one will have to make. I know the thumbs down thing has been a big hassle... I wish I had an answer for that. I personally think it's just some one who doesn't like country music in general. I'd hate to think it is one of us doing this. If it is...Please stop. Let's all get back to answering questions that have to do with country and Not these here. Love y'all take care and God bless.

Tex I agree with you that everyone should get along. I really had high hopes after some made apologies the other day etc that we would get back on track. There have been some cruel things said about me and I have been falsely accused of some things that I never did. I admit I had a couple of misunderstandings with about three or four people on here and I apologized and thought my apology had been accepted. I also accepted apologies from some that told me they were sorry they had said or done such and such. Even though some are still bad talking about me I choose to forgive them. I don't know everything either and I learn a lot from the various folks on here. I even say great going when someone has answered before me. I don't just sit here at the computer all day and wait for the next question and many times when I come back on I see where someone else has given the correct answer and I try to congratulate them for their answer. This could all still be fun if everyone would keep true to their words and forgive and move on but when it keeps happening one wonders if they are not still carrying a grudge. I don't think the legends would like what is going on and they would much rather we keep their memory,lives, successes etc in the forefront and not have hard feelings with one another. This is the last I will have to say about it. I like all of you and again if I have offended any of you in the past I am sorry and would like to have fun here with all of you and not a chosen few. Thanks to all of you that have enlightened my life and increased my knowledge about Classic country music. I still like the older stuff better but as you said there are some new ones who are doing pretty well and Josh Turner comes to mind and I probably wouldn't have ever listened to him had it not been suggested by one of the members here. I liked his sound so much that I went out and bought the CD with Long Black Train on it and I must say some of the other songs on the CD are good too. Take care everyone and I do mean everyone. HEY AMBER..WELCOME...I THINK THOSE BADGES ARE JUST A WAY OF SAYING THAT YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING A LOT IN MAYBE ONE SECTION I THINK??..AND IT'S A GOOD INSENTIVE FOR US TO DO MORE OF WHAT EVER WE WERE-ARE DOING!!

I am very new here (been here only about 2 weeks) and I do love it!!! I see questions about songs I haven't ever heard and then I'll go and listen to them and they are great! It's hard to find a large group of people that love the music I do!

I do have one question though....How is it determined when someone gets Top Contributor??? I've looked at everyone else's points/levels and mine are much much lower and I still got it. I was just wondering how it was determined.....

Kudos to you for being able to do that. I will still come here but I liken it to that dent on my truck....lol It still takes me everywhere I want to go, I still love it but it still bums me out when I wash it and think about how negligent someone was when they opened that door without thinking about anything else when all they had to do was exercise a little caution and foresight.
