why is garth just so amazing? Here's why Garth is truly amazing, in my humble opinion.....
First, as nearly every other respondent mentioned, he is truly a talented man. An excellent and distinctive voice, terrific material - he's turned out tunes that really touch a large audience, essentially something for anyone who will give him a listen.
His recordings are "top notch" with a virtual unlimited budget. Garth surrounded himself with the very best backup musicians available. Brad Paisley was his guitarist prior to carving out a career for himself -and Paisley is a "monster" on guitar as we all probably know.
Aside form ALL this, however, there's something that Garth did that virtually no other country act ever did.........
He put on a live show like no one before him. Lights, sound, effects, synchrozation of same, it was an experience that country concert goers had perhaps never seen.
His shows were as good or better than anything that Rock, or even Vegas, had ever produced. This fact alone, regardless of his terrific talent, would have contributed to his meteoric rise in popularity. I'm betting that these productions were very much a part of his being able to bring a whole new group of young listeners into the "country scene."
Lastly, Garth was an educated man. He had obtained a degree in accounting/marketing from OU. He was smart, knew how to sell his product, and never had to rely on a potential "crooked" management company. He also wisely started his own production company so as to maximize his profit and maintain artistic control over his career. he is just like that. very very very gifted.

they both are amazing artists and are gifted with voices like two very good looking angles. Because he is Garth. He sings those good cowboy songs about the rodeo. The songs about women & livin life.
He just is. I am one of his biggest fans. I have since I was a kid. His songs bring back a lot of memories and they never get old. I think I have heard the thunder rolls a million times and I still love it. He's so sensitive and he feels what he sings, that's how he can change so suddenly from one song to another-that's how he can make the videos that touch the soul.
He's been my favorite since I can remember and he'll always be...I can't wait until he's back for good!!! he is great ,, he sings songs from life experiences
