Why are Country music, singer women such babes?

The other chicks that sing are getting old. They all act like sluts and have that typical fake tanned skin. I'm watching a Country music vid right now-Taylor Swift: Man, I want to lay in that bed and listen to her sing, hehe

its all about selling records. all the young country stars are just all about looks. very few of the newer country singers even write there own music they are just selling a pretty face more than there talent. i agree though there are some very good looking women in country music & Im sure the women will agree that the men are good looking also.

because now a days the singers keep getting younger and younger for the younger generation.

It's all marketing. Same goes for Hollywood and the entertainment business on the whole.

If you were responsible for promoting a performer -and- considering all other things being equal...........would you rather promote Faith Hill (for instance) or an equaully talented girl that is 5 feet tall and overweight.

Same with the males............ain't fair, but the "babe-factor" is more important today than it ever has been in promotion.

Britney Spears, prior to going completley "berserk" sure didn't become popular because of her voice (or lack of one.)
