My cousin asked me to do a slide show for my deceased aunts rememberance party in January. I have never done this so I need to start ASAP. I need help getting some good songs to put on it. Any help is appreciated. I Will Remember You
by Sarah McLachlan
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard
But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to loose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light
And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories If its a rememberance party, the main song that comes to my mind is
Where have all the flowers gone, (long time passing) Take me home, courty road. Lights by Journey, and anything by Frank Stallone. "Memories" by Elvis?
Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine
Quiet thought come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories,
Sweet memories
Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilight trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you
Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine,
Memories, memories, sweet memories It depends on what you like but for something acoustic my favorite artist is Sundowner (Chris McCaughan) Garth-Unanswered Prayers The Dance by Garth Brooks "american girl" by tom petty or "the hardest part" by coldplay Here's some good songs that I would use, and leave a good note on everything:

There You'll Be - Faith Hill
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion (may be too cheesy)
