Willie and Kid Rock?

What are your thoughts on this combination of Kid Rock and Willie Nelson????. Now I can't say much and. I wont, 'cause I don't care for Kid Rock. so I haven't paid much attention.

WILLIE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I can't stand kid rock, at all! It makes me sick that him and Hank Jr are friends, now Willie, and I know David Allan Coe wrote some songs for kid rock, say it ain't so!

i didn't hear that they were making songs together. kid rock is alright i guess, but i believe that willie is the better of the two. how could "cowboy" compete with "whiskey river"?

Kid Rock was on WIllie's "Great Divide" cd. The song was "Last Stand in Open Country". I thought it was really good, I was surprised becaus I am not a big fan of Kid Rock, but I like most of his duo's. Like when he did photograph with Sheryl Crow.

Why doesn't that surprise me? after all Willie has collaborated with the best from all genres. Julio Iglesias, Ray Charles, Jamaican singers, Spanish singers, Rock, even Tejano singers. I recall him doing "Marie" with Little Joe Y La Familia. He appeals to all generations and is well known amongst all genres of music. But I hate Kid Rock.

Willie is my hero but Kid Rock is awful. I know exactly what album you are talking about too. I can't stand the combo. I don't get it honestly.

Firstly, I have to say, whoever the woman is that is singing with them has a great voice...lol

Kid rock can't destroy Willie for me. He just puts a HUGE smile on my face and actually, it wasn't sooo terrible...lol but then again, Willie is the one that made it for me.

You know, I don't really like Kid Rock but I do like his duet with Sheryl Crowe (Picture) and I think he did ok with Kenny Chesney on Luckenbach Texas and I like the song "Only God Knows Why" I think , if he really wanted to put forth some effort instead of attitude he could sing well. He did a decent job with Bob Seger on his latest album "Face the Promise" of "Real Mean Bottle" if you like Bob.

I just get a kick out of Willie and I think he has such a love for music in general that he sings with everyone and I have heard he wants to sing with as many people as he can before he passes and he may just end up having sung more song with anyone when he does. I enjoyed watching it but Kid was not my main focus. I just think the world of Willie Nelson
