He is well known around here and you can still see him play in a lot of local joints. One of his biggest hit's is "Up against the wall redneck mother"..another good song of his is "Sangria wine" I posted a link to his web sight. Jerry Jeff is a dandy. I have several of his vinyl albums from the 70s and really like his Live CD - Live at Gruene Hall...highly recommended, laid back, cool country.....Texas country. He did Mr. Bojangles and a bunch of cool songs. Jerry Jeff Walker was a popular "outlaw "country singer of the late 60's and 70's.He is the same cut as the "Texas " style outlaws of the same era. In addition to the other info., he was in a psychedelic band-Circus Maximus before going solo.
