Would this be easy for me?

uuhmm yea ive been playin da violin for about 4 1/2 yeas now..and i wanna play the electric guitar now...my teacher said it would be easy for me because...ive played the violin...uhmm so yea would it be easy?

I was forced into piano, violin, viola and cello lessons as a child. I am now in my early 40's and have played the acoustic and electric 6 & 12 string guitars as well as a 4, 6, and 8 string bass guitar, The banjo, mandilin and the up right bass. I would suggest go for it and have a blast. It took me only 2 week to learn to play the guitar, banjo, bass guitar and up right bass. The hardest instrument was the mandilin that took me 8 weeks. It cramped my fingers something feirce. The transition should be really easy. You just have to get use to holding the guitar and the fingering is basically the same as that of a violin. Good Luck and Have Fun.

the guitar is a pretty easy instrument to learn and since you know how to play other instruments it should help as long as you practice.

If you really have the patience, (which apparantly you have)
GO FOR IT!!!

Good Luck!!!
