Who sang a better version of Honky Tonkin Hank Williams Sr. or Hank Williams Jr.?

For some reason I find Sr.'s version better that is unusual for me to say but it just seems the simpler version is the better version of that particular song.

Hank Sr. The man died too young. I'm not a fan of new country music but every time I hear a Hank Sr. song I will stop and listen. You are right, he kept it simple and that makes it stand out.

The Original is ALWAYS best ( the rest are covers)
(even if it is is son)

I'LL TAKE HANK SR. ANYTIME!

Most Def Sr. I always like to hear the good ole original.

I have to go with the others and say Hank Sr.

Gotta go With Sr. over Jr. anytime.

sr's is best. i have the old vinyl record of it, my dad still listens to t on his old player. i love Sr for how he sang but i love Jr. also because he has is own sound. listen to hank the 3 rd and she how much he sounds like Sr. its kind of spooky.

SR.always.

Hank Williams Sr, Is the great one,and has a great Jr.Hank Sr.

No contest....Senior!

Definitely Hank Sr.

Your all wrong! HANK III !!

Hank !!!
Jr.'s had a few good songs but I've never been a big fan. I think he's made a living of his name more than his talent.
Strangely enough, Hank III is great (the country stuff) I guess the talent gene skips a generation.

SR by far is much much better.

Hank Sr.....who could be better?

SR!
