How much did Willie Nelson sell his song "Family Bible" for?

and why?

Your on the right path Okie.

hmmmm, i don't know, was it around the same time that he sold "Hello walls", when he was trying to feed his family?
Ok, i think he sold "Hello Walls" for $50 Bucks so i'll say $50.

I believe it was $50.

oops sorry Tex I read and answered the other question about Night Life before I saw this one. He sold Family Bible to Claude Gray for $50.00

On Edit: I don't know if there was a specific reason that he sold the song for so little unless it was like most struggling songwriters he was in dire need of the money.

I remember he sold it for fifty bucks but . shoot. didn;t he sell either this or the other one in order to get the money to move to somewhere to start his recording career?
