Some of us older people would like to listen to church hymns that were sang in the 50's and before such as Old Rugged Cross, In the Garden, Just As I Am, Nearer My God To The, At the Cross, etc. sang by artists such as Jim Nebors, or Perry Como, Kitty Wells, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Hank Williams, Quartets. How about a station for us? here are some online radio stations
http://www.martinrothonline.com/SGCentra... Check your AM frequency if you haven't already. We have a couple of those stations in Alabama on the AM frequency, and they do feature artists like Jim Nabors, Hank Williams, etc. Most people think AM frequencies are mostly sports and talk radio, but in reality, a large portion of them are 'less-listened-to' genres of music such as classical, classic country, classic gospel, and so forth that you won't find on the FM frequency. Also, many talk radio stations feature some genre of music in between all the 'talk', and it's usually one of those genres. |
