Hank 3?give your thought? |
To me he rules and is one of the best thangs about country.(I hate all this pop country and country rap stuff) *p.s. Have u heard the joke. What is country and rap* Pop Country SUCKS! Hank III is a hellbilly hellraiser that spits in the face of corporate sell out Trashville. carrying on the Williams legacy Hank III goes out on his own doing things his way, not caring what the suits want him to do. Hank 3 is following the family tradition.... he is a williams, needs a style, needs a manager;and david alan coe can really do rap I LOVE HANK 3. I've seen him 3 times in concert. I'm not a huge fan of the metal part, but his country stuff is great. His voice sounds like SR which I love. I have all 3 of his country cds I agree with Lisa, If he were to keep it country and leave the metal out of it, I believe he would have a bigger following, including me. I,m not that big of a fan. I think he's the most original artist out there today. The country is raw and real. The middle ground (transition from country to metal) is absolutely amazing, and Assjack, the punk/metal band is great! There ain't nothing like a Hank III show. There's usually two distinct sets of folks... those there for the country, and those there for the metal. Me... I'm there for both! Hank III and the Damn Band are great! Hank III and Assjack are even better! I've got nothing but respect for a guy who puts his music out there on the line and leaves it up to the listener to decide... it's nonconventional, that's for sure, but the guy's not catering to anybody. As ol' Shelton says himself, "If you don't like my hellbilly style, then hey, man, go f**k you!" sure wish he'd come to canada since i can't leave it. Hank 3 rocks! He puts on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Im not to big on his metal, but I dig it. I've met him several times along with almost everyone in the band. He is the real deal, LONG LIVE III His music is good and he hasn't sold out to the Nashville mainstream. You have to respect that. Read his biography and he stated he had a 300 dollar a week pot hobby. That's a lot of tokin'. |
