I had 2 fish named Brooks and Dunn.

I knew a lady years ago whose poodles were named Donnie and Marie.

Well when I was younger I had a rottweiler,But he was named after an actor. His full name on the certificate was Bogarthalamew, but everyone knew him as Bogey or Bogart, named after the famous Humphrey Bogart.

He's not country, but my cousin's cat is named Elvis. Lol. She's a huge Elvis fan.

No, I tend to name my pets after characteristics that they have... like BJ (cat) is short for black jack because she has 21 toes. I did name a kitten after my favorite hockey player many years ago.
I know someone with cats named Ben and Jerry. Not exactly country but worthy all the same.

I think that's kinda sweet. But as for namin' my pets--no the kids do that when we have a fish tank in the house..No dogs-no cats, the kids make enough messes without adding to it.
