Any similar artist to steve earle?

I really like his new song "Oxycotin Blues" and was just wondering if there where any other artist that have the same kind of upbeat bango sound like this songs got. Any suggestions on who i should check out?

I think Blue Rodeo (from Canada) is similar, just my opinion but check them out they are awesome.

Try some Todd Snider--he's a little more folkish than Steve Earle, but very very good. Also, try Adam Hood--he' s a little more rockish than Earle, but again, pretty good. Shooter Jennings is good too. Some of his songs are hit or miss as far as being similar in genre. I'll keep thinking, and I'll add more if I think of someone else. Happy listening!
