name of song is, All american country boy, i think written by red steagall and/or charlie craig, some guy sang it about 70s not sure if it was one of these 2 guys, but allan jackson also sang it, a few years back

You are correct on the song writers. It was both of them. I found the performer on Wikipedia. It was Con Hunley. He recorded it in 1984. It was released as a single so I don't know if you can buy it on an album. Good Luck

I think you mean the song written and performed by Bobby Bare (Originally he released it under another name)
Also, I think the title was Tupelo Mississippi Flash. It was a parody on Elvis.
