In his early days, Merle was often known to do a few impressions of famous country singers of his time during his concerts like Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, and Eddie Arnold. One particular country artist he impersonated on stage, and even once during a talk show in the late sixties/very early seventies. It was so dead on accurate that it even impressed the actual singer he was impersonating. Who was the singer?
