How difficult is it to learn? I remember someone telling me it was a lot harder to play than they thought it would be. Is this true?
I have no expeience with wind instruments how long would it take for me to get it to sound right? I've played harmonica for years. The big thing is to make sure that he harmonica your playing is in the right key for the song your playing. Once that happens you pretty much can't hit a wrong note.
Now to play more advanced stuff takes some time, and is a lot hard that just blowing randomly. I didn't think it was that difficult, but I didn't keep it up, either. I learned a couple of songs and then dropped it.
Just get your self a book and a harmonica--maybe a CD course so you can hear what it's supposed to sound like, and give it a whirl. If it doesn't work out for you, it's not like you've invested in a piano (big and expensive)--it's just a little harmonica! |
