Crazy I usually give the stars to the questions that interest me...like this one.

I only give stars to a person if I think they deserve it and if I like their answer a lot.

I donlt know that I am entirely certain what the purpose of the star system is. I have used it when I tried to answer a question and wasn't sure of the answer in hopes that someone on my contact list would see it and go over there and answer it too and maybe a few times to keep me from scrolling who know's how many pages back to see what an answer was that I was curious about. I guess I thought that was what it was for was to try and get other people to voice in on a question so the asker would get the best possible answer to it.
