On Desperate Housewives...who is the friend that dies?

At the beginning of the episode the voice over said that one of the wives will lose a husband and all of them would lose a friend. If Victor was the husband that died, then who do you think is the friend? I can't for the life of me think of who that is unless it some obscure person who we never see and somehow is friends with the other ladies. The only other person I can think of is Ida who was in the basement with Tom and the kids. but was she really considered a friend to the main characters?

I dont think any of us knows yet . As far as Ida goes Ida was not really a friend of all of them . I think it might be referring to Katherine who might end up leaving Adam and leaving wisteria lane . Oh well just my theory . good luck and god bless.

according to the website everyone is saying it is IDA. Karen (the other old lady) says to Lynette when went looking for the cat" because thats what friends do"

The way I understood it is that they would lose a husband and a friend... Meaning, that the husband was also a friend of all of the wives. It's a technicality. Victor was their friend and also Gabby's husband. He just wasn't a CLOSE friend.

I think it was Ida or that crazy lady in Brees bathroom....

I read a spoiler that said it was Ida.

maybe the friend is Carlos, he is a friend of theirs, I don't know but then that would spoil the whole Gabby/carlos getting back together plot. It could also be Ida as you said or maybe even Tom. I have to say though it is a fictional show I can really sympathize for Lynette, her character has been to hell and back this season and like in real life, the worse things in your life are going the more crap that comes down the shoot, using this theory It may be Tom. I can't wait to find out. *side note* loved the episode but when psycho chick got sucked up in the wind, that was lame.
