Did u like the mini series "tin man" on sci-fi?

It was ok for a made for tv miniseries on a basic cable tv station. I think the acting could have been better.

I've only seen the first one, but I loved it! I recorded all of them and haven't had the time to watch the other segments. Gonna watch at least one of them tonight. I think I compared it a little too much to the original at first, but after I gave that up and started seeing it for itself, I began really enjoying it! It's really creative and such an original take on a great classic. So far anyway! Now you're makin' me want to go finish it....

i totally agree with you that it gives "wizard of oz" more maturity.

i liked it, but i felt like they could've used the budget they had and make one amazing 2 or 3 hour long movie, instead of 3 2-hour long episodes. i liked the storyline and the little nods to the original "oz" and the overall premise.

the only thing i didn't like was that it felt like a tv special. i know that it was, but since there were big name actors in it, i thought it would be more theatre like.

despite that, i did like it and enjoyed watching it. i hope sci-fi makes another mini series like this one and "taken"

I really enjoyed the mini-series. I thought of it as the Wizard of Oz with attitude. I didn't have a problem with the acting...I like the actress that played DG (Zoey Deschanel) from some other stuff that she's done. I also liked how they threw in all those little references to the original Wizard of Oz movie. (DG's waitress uniform, Toto, how it goes to black and white when DG sees Dorothy Gale's spirit in Kansas)
My father and I think that they might have left the ending a bit open...perhaps to allow it to turn into an actual series. That would be great and I would watch it.

Loved it! Hope they make more.

I love anything with Zooey Deschanel in it.
