Rome and Deadwood on HBO?

I am very angry with HBO. They take two GREAT shows and just end thjem. And in thier place they give us Flight of the choncords, Tell me you love me and John from Cinncinati. Are you kidding me? I have watched all of those shows and theyre terrible. Wanted to know if anyone else is pissed!!

I agree! Rome was one of the greatest shows on television. HBO used the lame excuse of Rome being too expensive to shoot..well duh!..it was shot overseas..of course it is going to be expensive. HBo never thinks out anything.. Well, at least there is one more season of The Wire.

I was really upset, I loved both shows and hated how they ended them.

i waited and waited for deadwood's return.......i was completely bummed!

I really liked Rome - I didn't see Deadwood enough to get hooked on it but I heard it was a great show. It is too bad they're not making them anymore.

I have to say though that I like the Flight of the Conchords and Tell Me You Love Me. Never saw John from Cincinnati.

Although I do believe Deadwood should have stuck around, I wasn't too broken up about Rome. But I love Flight of the Concords, though it is definitely an acquired taste. If you're looking for great Cable TV shows Showtime is the channel to watch. They have The Tudors and Dexter- and Dexter is hands down one of the best shows on TV. It centers around a serial killer who works on the Miami P.D. as a blood splatter expert- but he only kills criminals, people who for whatever reason manage to get away with heinous crimes, he hunts them down and kills them. It is sooo good!
