What was the real reason jorga fox left csi ?

just when you thought things were beginning to heat up between fox's character and her supervisor,she decided to leave the popular series...especially when the main character grissom proposed marriage..

I heard that it was because she wanted more money and the show turned her down. I don't know how true it is.

Because she wanted more money. That's why the season finale last year had her in the car... they were still negotiating and depending on whether or not they reached an agreement she would either be found alive or not. :) Obviously they didn't reach an agreement.

It was her choice to leave. She wanted to focus on other oppertunities while she still had the chance. The CSI head honchos have said that Jorja Fox is coming back, maybe not this season, but she's definitely coming back, and that the fans "have not seen the last of Sara Sidle". And since Sara and Grissom never technically broke off the engagement...something's going to happen there, still.

It was a crappy time for her to go, but I prefer to not have too much personal stories about the characters. I just want them to solve crimes.

its always about money....i have never missed an episode of csi vegas....if they were going to kill off anyone, im glad it was her...i didnt like her...i just hope they don't replace her with some typical skinny, pretty chick...its more realistic when they have realistic looking people

Money and career.

I cannot blame any actress to want to be paid as much as the guys and unless everybody on a show join together (like they did on Friends), the negotiations will fail.
Also, she may want to do other things. CSI is the greatest show but after years and years of doing it, especially if you're a woman, getting older, you might want to explore other things, career wise.
Petersen already made movies and stuff before he was Grissom but Jorga did not really. (she did movies but did not really made an impact yet).

I'm sticking my 2 cents in. I don't find CSI as exciting anymore without Jorga. She was my favorite. She is so real,not beautiful,but lovely,you want to be her friend.I hope it wasn't about money, but I hope she did not make a big mistake leaving a show that was still a hit, hope she doesn't become just a name someone will put on trivia.
