HEROES Finale? Is This Right?

Has it been 22 epsiodes already, or did they do this because of the writers strike, and also sence the the did the finale when will Heroes season 2 come out on DVD?

yes that was the finale! the writers strike is why they stoppped the show mid-season not winter break. it only said it was the finale!!!!!!!!!!

i believe they did what they did last year.... ya remember we had season finale back in december and it resumed sometime in january of this year. who knows.

no, it just ended early due to the writer's strike. they should be back next season.

They are on winter break. Most shows do this now; it allows them to air Christmas specials and mid-season replacement shows. It also allows the actors to have a holiday vacation (they deserve a break too!). Each show on television was a t a different stage in the filming of their seasons before the writers strike took place: Some shows had more than half of their season's shows written and some only had a few. They can continue to film episodes of with scripts that have already been written, it's simply that no new scripts are being written while the strike continues. From what I understand shows like Heroes and Grey's Anatomy have enough new episodes to last until they come back from break, But shows like 24 and Desperate Housewives are pretty much tapped out.

It's just winter breakish, they'll be back in '08.

I personally think the writer's strike screwed the finale up. They had to reshoot a lot of it...originally, Elle didn't go to Mohinder's lab and get Sylar, it happened outside.

It was 11 episodes.

i think it was because of the ******* RETARDED WRITERS STRIKE!!!!
and this season really didnt need to be that long, just tie up some loose ends from season 1 before Sylar came back and the petrellis were reunited. sorta "bridging the gap" if you will.
