Television advertisements?

how many are fed up with the continuous adverts that appear constantly on the tele,
It is understood fully, they are nessesary to keep the commercial channels running but, there are far too many, interupting programmes it seem around every seven minutes , has anyone calculated how much of an actual film we see? I do not feel we being given a fair deal ? does anyone else think the same?

I hate them. That's why I love recording stuff on Sky Plus then watching it afterwards, so I can zoom through them all :P

Does anyone find the ones on Sky One last something like 5 minutes? They are ridiculous.

no adds, no programme. but i do agree,they are annoying

I am sick of all the male enhancement ads..(who gives a sh*t if they can't get it up) ...
and all the programs to help the uninsured... more hand outs from the government..

I know, they are getting beyond a joke. Years ago, a couple of adverts, then your programme was back on, but now, I get so annoyed with them, I have to flick through the channels until they've finished. It's not just the length of time they're on now, but don't you find some of the adverts are so long and boring, and you're still sat there, wondering what the hell they were advertising in the first place.
Here's a good one for you though. My husband and I were watching a film on channel 5, and the adverts were driving us mad. At the end of the film, we were saying how good the film was, only to realise we had it on DVD, and could have been watching it with a good picture(in the bedroom, bad reception) and NO adverts. How thick are we!!

Well I can understand why they need to have them, and I suppose I don't mind too much when the adverts aren't too long, like on ITV, but some channels have ridiculously long adverts like channel 5 and sky one (conveniently where I've been watching prison break) so you feel like the last adverts have just finished, and surprise surprise, time for another advert!

If we must suffer ads, why must they be so much bloody LOUDER than the program?
