Gossip girl tv review!?

ok i need to know the basics of gossip girl cause i just started watching and i need like a cram session of wat i missed in the passed!

Oh it is the best show!

Serena kept getting into trouble so she left. When she gets back she expects everything is normal. Well Blair her best friend is mad because she didn't say good bye or call or anything. Well they eventually work things out. Blair has a boyfriend nate who is in love with Serena. But Nate has to keep dating Blair because her mom is a fashion designer and Nate's dad wants her business he is some sort of executive or something. Serena meets Dan and they start to date. Serenas brother is in rehab for trying to kill himself and he and Jenny do become friends. S and B become friends again, but then fight again when Nate tells B he had sex with S. Chuck does try to get with Jenny at a party and Dan comes and punches him out. Dan and JEnnys mom left them and Jenny trys to get her mom to come home when she does her dad is suprised but he used to date S's mom and still likes her. Carter is older than them all but he came back from traveling the world. He invited Nate to a poker game and Chuck tries to talk him out of going but he went and Carter and his friends set him up and Nate lost a lot of money when he went to get money out of his account it was gone, His dad had used it all for drugs. Nates dad has also but embezzling money for his drug habit and tried to overdose on thanksgiving. Nate and B break up and then B and Chuck hook up and have a secret affair. Venessa is Dans old girlfriend and she keeps getting the way of Dan and S. But S and V are trying to be friends. Jenny used to be B's go to girl but made her mad by going to the masked ball when she wasn't invited. so you probably saw the last one and know what happens from there.
to sum it all up:
Serena: The girl that everybody loves
Blair: the girl with all the money and can do whatever she wants
Nate: loves Serena but was forced to date Blair
Chuck: Loaded and sex addict and can also do whatever he wants
Dan: poor from brooklyn, in love with Serena
Jenny: Young and just wants to fit in and be Blairs buddy
Vanessa: in the way and always butting in
Carter: trouble maker

Well lets start at the begining. Serena gets back from being away. Blair wants to sleep with Nate for the first time but is interupted by Serena getting home. Blairs mad at Serena for leaving and not phoning when blairs dad left to be with another man. They have a talk, they become friends again. Then Blair finds out that before Serena left she had slept with Nate. They arnt friends anymore. Nate still wants to be with Serena but she dosnt want to be with him. Serena meets Dan they start going out. Chuck trys to get with Jenny at a party, Dan punches him. Blair is mad at Serena and tells everyone she is in rehab until she finds out its actualy Serenas younger brother Eric who is in rehab for try to comit suicide. Eric and Jenny start to like each other. Serena and Dan get serious. Blair and Serena become friends again. Nate finds out his dad is on cocaine. Nate gets his dad arrested when he punches him outside a hotel.Nate and Blair break up. Blair sleeps with Chuck. Oh and Serena and Dan find out that her mom and his dad used to be together and that Dans mom and Serenas mom hate each other.

anyways im sure i missed some of the drama but thats all the basics. its impossible to remember it all.
