Six Feet Under: Does anybody remember that episode where Ruth brings her "famous" potato salad to a party...

...even though the host explicitly asked that no one bring anything, and nobody eats it, and she ends up dumping it in the toilet, and the toilet backs up? Cracks me up everytime I think about it. What is your favorite "Six Feet Under" moment?

This was such a great, great show. I hated to see it end and was happy when the Bravo cable station started re-running all the episodes. This show is like M.A.S.H, I'd watch it over and over.
I remember the potato salad episode and there were so many other memorable ones. I especially liked the ones that the "father" appeared in. He was always my favorite. I think the finale show was excellent. I loved that they showed us what happened to all the characters. I don't remember any show ever doing that in such a believable way.

it was a great show, and there were many moments i loved. but the ultimate had to be the finale, with claire driving away. everytime i hear that song it chokes me up

My favorite was when Nate had the stroke/siezure while having sex.

I really loved this show. It was so quirky and so real at the same time. My favorite was when Ruth went to help her sister break her Vicodin addiction and she and Kathy Bates tied up the sister and laid on the hammock and took half a Vicodin themselves...

It was a wonderful program. I'm happy I have the entire series on dvd so I can revisit. The characters were all well written and seemed human as each had their own strengths and weaknesses. I have to echo an earlier poster who said the series finale was the best moment. Claire driving to New York while we see the futures of each of the main characters was very touching and made sense given the nature of the series.
