Rebus Fans !?

also - was it good when John Hannah played Rebus ? Who do you think plays the role best ?

I love Ken Stott, i loved him in The Messiah aswell. He is manly and moody and he is always right.

John Hannah, not only is he great as Rebus he is also one of our very finest actors.

Not seen tonight's episode yet - recorded it cos we were watching the new season of NCIS. I liked Hannah as Rebus but I think Ken Stott is more believable as an Inspector - and a better actor.

I stopped watching this programme as soon as the foul and obscene language was introduced. From my experience it's not typical of senior police officers in private, let alone in the company of female colleagues.

Haven't watched it yet, hospital visiting last night, so I'II watch it tonight, But I'm sure I will enjoy it, always do.
I think Ken Stott is far better as Rebus, John Hannah is a good actor and I have liked him in other things but I don't think he is right for Rebus. Ken Stott is a lot darker and moodier, very sarcastic and strangely very attractive.
Also liked him in Messiah and the film with Billy Connolly, The Debt Collector, brilliant film, Ken all moody again. In fact I've liked him in every role he's played.
I think I think I may be a fan!!!!!!

Fridays episode was excellent.

I never like it when tv series swap actors for the main characters and I felt like that at first when Ken 'took over' from John Hannah.

But, having read some of the Rebus books, Ken is definitely more true to life as the character from the description in the books.

Ken Stott has grown on me as Rebus and now I think he's brilliant
