Is Nip/Tuck Past its Prime?

Nip/Tuck used to be so enthralling. It was the only television show that I actually kept up with. But with this new fifth season, I can't help but wonder, "what the hell happened?" I mean, "Plastic Fantastic?" Are the writers really THAT desperate? Or maybe the season was written when the writers in Hollywood were on strike, if they are in fact behind that show. I don't know, it's just a shame how such a great television show has really gone downhill. Any comments?

You're absolutely right. Downhill is the word there.
I used to love that show and I still watch it out of faithfulness, hoping for it to get back to where it used to be.
It's like a marriage to me now...for better or for worse and now it's the worse part but I'm still hoping for the better to come back.
I'm always thinking...if only those people who make that show would ask me, I could tell them what's wrong...
I think they're just trying too hard to push your buttons and at one point, the sexy young depraved promiscuous girl who's still think she should be a virgin was a little too much and desperate.

Yep...definitely in need of some big time liposuction to suck the fat out...it's veered so far off it's original premise that it's almost unrecognizable.

I think this last episode sucked a.ss, but if you think about it, this story w/ Eden is really good. Sean could either get in major trouble w/ her or fall in love. Idk. I hope they start doing somethin better.
