I certainly will be watching. I've never missed an episode of Doctor Who since it began in 1963 and I'm not about to start now (despite my misgivings about Kylie Minogue).

Now that we know from the most recent trailer that the "Titanic" in the story is a spaceship (1), I imagine that the Doctor will be investigating, and eventually putting a stop to, whatever plot the aliens piloting it have got in mind.

As for the aliens themselves, I thought it might be the Eternals as soon as I saw the bow of the Titanic crashing through the side of the Tardis at the end of "Last of the Time Lords", and I haven't yet seen anything to change my mind.

Also their is a rumour that the Tardis console room might be getting a new look in the next series (2). This might be the perfect excuse to do that since a repair job will have to be done on the breach made by the "Titanic" anyway.

It going to be the highlight of Christmas Day and by the looks of the trailer the Titanic is a spaceship.

I can't! I'm going to be abroad over Christmas :( I am in fact very distraught. My friend is actually sick of me pestering her to record it for me...
I know there is something about angels with gold faces and a short alien think with a red, spiky face...Oh and the Doctor plays cricket with ball of light and a candlestick or something...

Dr Who and loads of chocolate is going to be the perfect Christmas day : ) and then the excitement of Torchwood starting in the new year.

I have watched every episode of Dr.Who from episode 1 ( that means 1963 ) an dyes I will be watching the Christmas day episode, not sure what will happen but watch carefully I think the the new series will refer back to this episode.

Certainly will cant wait.
