Greys Anatomy, you kno with izzy got the name of " the amature who killed a patient." wat really happened?

I'm not completely sure, but as far as I've seen I think that's because she cut the wires to Denny's heart so that he could get a new one. Which might have worked out for the better had she figured in that he was prone to blood clots. Which ultimately led to his death.

Because she fell in love with a patient (Denny) that needed a new heart, but the hospital wouldn't give him one because he wasn't as bad as another patient, the day they were performing a heart transplant to another guy she tought that if she lost that heart Denny would never find a new one, so she cutted some kind of wire Denny needed to survive to tell Dr.Burke that bring the heart, but when he was bringing it to her he got shot, so heart never arrived and Denny died.

um... okay Denny did get the new heart but he had a stroke on the night they were to have the prom night for the chiefs niece Izzy cut the wire but only to get him that heart. she was taking too long to get ready for him for this prom and he had a stroke while he was waiting for her. She was devastated and laid crying in her dress on the floor of her home for three days
