Lost again and again!!?

if the island is an experiment by dharma how come everyones connected and having visions and everything else! give me your ideas on your take on it all! dont hold back! maybe its all a dream!

I know... Its crazy.

This series only keep presenting more and more questions, with no answers at all.

But there is one thing that I have noticed - Many of the people on the Island were, well, "bad" in some sense.

And what the hell was that black smoke that killed Eko? And the most shocking part was when Time Travel came into the series - that really freaked me out.

The series is supposed to end with the sixth season (2009-2010).

As for what I think, I agree with Locke - "Its fate". I have no other explanation for all the crazy things tat happen in the island. At the end of the third season, Jack says to Kate that they shouldn't have got out(of the island). He says he boards a flight every weekend hoping it'll crash. Why? I thought they were desperate to get out. His statement doesn't make any sense.

I think the Island is a place where fate punishes people, or something like that. Many people on the Island are "bad" in some ways, even though circumstances lead them to be what they are. Eg : Kate killed her father. "Sawyer" killed some wrong guy thinking that he was the Sawyer who had caused his parents' death. Charlie was into drugs, and Jin-Soo worked as worked as an enforcer for his Father-in-Law for his shady dealings.

Maybe the Dharma people started experimenting with technology so much that the Island refused to take anymore. Maybe its like that Final Fantasy movie where the planet has a soul. I think the Island has a soul, which is trying to break free or something(every 108 minutes..lol). I know the stuff I think is crazy, but I can't help thinking this way.

The simplest explanation is - "Its all fate"

I have no idea. I do know that it will have to be something totally mind-blowing if they dont want to be accused of copping out.
I have this horrible feeling that they [the writers/creators] have backed themselves into a corner without having a clear vision of how its all going to play out, i really hope im wrong but it looks like we are heading for a big let-down.

Well it's been confirmed by the writers and producers several times that it isn't a dream or anything like that.
