Why is there no Indians in the deadwood serial? |
this sems really odd to me,allthough i really enjoy the programe! Because most were still in India at the time the series is set. Maybe you could ask the same question about Native Americans... Forget the smart alec guy above. There are little to no indians (native americans) in the show because at the time, there were little to none in the settlement. At that time and place in history, they were considered "enemies" and the settlers would have kept as many as possible away from the settlement, as a lot of them thought indians (NA's) were sub-human. I don't agree with this assessment, as I am part Cherokee (and I am not offended by the term indians). |
