Did anyone see at school a drama called 'Dark Towers' or 'Silas'??

If your thinking the same ones as me ... there were a series of these programmes that went out about 4.30 pm on Childrens BBC .... this must be about 20 years ago.

Silas, I remember, had terrible dubbing and the little lad playing the main character always said ' I never lie' .. lol !!

I remember another one where this boy gave up his ability to laugh to this evil baron who in return promised the young boy that he could win any bet that he placed.

And there was another where Michael Elphick (the guy who played Boon) tried to hold these 2 kids hostage on an Island but they ended up escaping.

If were on a different wavelength then I apologise cause these probably won't end up meaning anything to you

But hey - It's brought a few old memories back !!

Dark Towers is going back a bit, that was years ago.

i dont remember silas though

i still love wordy!!
