With the writer's strike, what is the status on the show 24?

I had heard the writer's strike really messed up the production/airing of 24, one of my favorite shows!!! I know it was supposed to start around Jan. but due to the strike that is now delayed but I am wondering until WHEN exactly, if anyone knows? And is there a website where you can find out up to date info on TV shows and when they will be airing, especially because of the strike. I tried to check on TV guide online but found no info.

It has been delayed indefinitely. Supposedly there are only seven or eight episodes completed thus far. This will allow "SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" to air ahead of its scheduled May airdate.

well it may be delayed due to the fact that kiefer sutherland is in jail for a dui..

Supposedly only 8 episodes were written and production had just started. For that reasoning they said 24 would most likely not air this year. (Sutherland was smart and used this time to serve his sentence while there is a halt in production)
