Whats so bad about family guy?Is it stupid my parents wont let me watch it?

My parents wont let me watch family guy,they say it has alot of sarcasm and pregudist remarks.Was it just that one episode were stewie thought he shot lois?Because to be honest,I Thought it had a lot more content than others,is it true it was just one bad episode?

fam guy is my all time fave show...i appreciate the sarcasm and parodies...and as a black woman, im not all offended by the show...its comic relief...

My husband and I watch that show.. I personally LOVE it, just because I think it's funny sometimes and am very shocked at some of the things they're allowed to say or do and get away with. But my person opinion in general would be, your parents are right. It is a very crude show and if you're still growing up, then it's probably not the best " role model" show out there to be watching. It makes The Simpsons seem like a kids cartoon..

I have to side with your parents. I know I wouldnt let my kids watch it if I were them. While the show is hilarious, every episode has horrible sexual innuendos (GO QUAGMIRE) and racial prejudices. I would say if you are going to watch it, dont let them know. Have a friend tape it and give you the tape (watch it when they are not home). But honestly, your parents are completely right. Im sorry.

Gotta side with your parents there. If they think it's innapropriate for you to watch then you probably shouldnt be watching it. Family guy can have some funny stuff in it, but it's not targeted at kids.

Well,I don't know how old you are but you should listen to your parents.I watch it and I really get surprised, I think it can go too far a lot.i wouldn't let my child watch it either.It really is an adult program.

you aren't missing anything.....that show got so lame after fox picked it back up. really, you are only missing some poop jokes and the occasional penis reference. watch futurama

I love Family Guy but your parents are smart by not letting you watch because it has a lot of inapropreat stuff in it. It might be a little akward watching it with your parents.
