Did nip/tuck jump the shark tonight?

nip/tuck has had some unusal story lines; however their writing staff has always been able pull all the loose ends together to make the absurd stories clear.

last nights story with the old man having an alien implant seemed like a plot from the x-files. i am interested to see where this goes, but..................

I thought Nip/Tuck jumped the shark during the whole Carver storyline, so I didn't even watch last season. But, I gave the show another try this season, and I'm SO glad I did. I think the move to California was the best idea ever! The alien plot is very odd, but i didn't hate it. I don't know if they will go back to it later or not. I think the whole storyline with Matt and Kimber is awful, but Julia/Christian/Olivia love triangle is making up for it. I can't wait to see is Sean finds out about Julia and Christian!!

What's the deal with the son? I missed the first 15 mins for the first time in 3 years and missed the whole Julie kidnap thing.

As far as the old guy I like that kind of stretch but your right it's kind of a strech.

I thought the episode tonight was pretty good! I hated last season and was almost skeptical to watch this season-i'm so glad i didn't give up on the show though!

I am very anxious to see what happens to Matt... and to see how far Christian and Julia are going to take their relationship!
