Ugly Betty- background on Claire? |
Can anyone fill me in on Claire from Ugly Betty? I just started watching the show, and wanted to get a little of her story- (i.e. why was she in jail, why was she seperated from Bradford, etc). Claire is in jail because she confessed to murdering Bradford's mistress, Faye Sommers, who was the editor for Mode until her death. She had disappeared for two years because of Bradford's infidelity, but they really did love each other still. After her arrest, Wilhelmina made it look like Claire was a monster and Bradford filed for divorce, and was going to marry Wilhelmina, but Claire, with her fellow inmate Yoga's help, broke out of jail to stop the wedding. It didn't exactly work, and they stayed on the run until Bradford was hospitalized because of his heart attack and saw Wilhelmina for who she really was, and he and Claire reconciled before his death. Claire was arrested at the hospital and is now in jail, and Alexis and Daniel are trying to get her to plead guilty by temporary insanity. |

Yea, it was. I forget what season (between 1 or 2) But Jude's best friend was becoming jealous of Jude because her bf kept ditching her for Jude after Jude's dad was outed for cheating ...
