It was about these green amphibious dinosaur creatures still alive that dwelled in the ocean, killed some people, they had electric current, caused thunderstorms in the ocean.
A "troubled teen" boy found an egg of one, named it, raised it. There were two scientist that went into the habitat of the creatures in a little two-man sphere shaped submarine.
