Bionic Woman?

Does anyone know if this show is comming back on? It seemed to just disappear off the air

The original bionic woman was ALWAYS good for its timeline, the newer one is kinda neat because of all the new technology available to simulate bionic powers in the present day. There was rumor I heard that Linsey Wagner was going to be a cameo in an upcomming episode. Thats why I was wondering if it was comming back on.

The Writers Strike has screwed up a lot of TV Shows, Bionic Woman, Chuck, Jay Leno & Conan are among the first Casualties which is why a lot of repeats are being shown or the shows are being replaced by game shows & Reality shows, which are not required by the writers guild. Additional & Extended episodes of "Deal or No Deal", "1 VS 100" & the Premiere of "Hulk Hogan presents The American Gladiators" are examples of what NBC is doing to try to keep an audience until the strike is over. Check your local listings for other channels in your azrea to see what other shows are being aired. Now as far as how good the New Bionic Woman is compared to the old one, The only thing that is the same is her name, everything else is completely re-tooled. No OSI, No Oscar Goldman, No Former Tennis Pro turned School Teacher for the US Air Force, No Steve Austin. In Fact, she's a sleezy pregnant Bartender with a kid sister who is almost as sleezy, except she is only 15 and Jaime is about 25, where Lindsay's "Jaime" was 28, and would not even think about having sex, let alone get pregnant. But I like the show anyway & can't wait for its return!

The show is a failure. It has a poor audience base and will disappear.

Well it is over 30 years old now, you'd have to check the obscure channels occasionally they sometimes put on re-runs

Yes, it is supposed to come back on. If you like the main actress you may see if your area gets repeats of a British show called East Enders. She was on it for years.

Supposedly it temporarily went off the air because of the writers strike. A lot of my fav shows have gone off the air because of that strike. Hopefully it will be back sometime early next year, if and when the strike is resolved. I'm really missing Bionic Woman, Heroes, and Prison Break.

i don't know all that much about the new bionic woman. i can appreciate interest in the original 1970s series because i am also an old-school type of person.
