How many episodes are in the second season of Heroes?

I want to really watch them, so i am hoping to get them from America sooner than the planned time to air the episodes in England.

Also, who is the main bad guy in the second season, is it Adam? And is he the one who Molly says can see her in the end of the first season?

There are 11 episodes so far. They only filmed that many because they wanted this season, unlike season 1, to have TWO main end of the world stories. The Writers Strike didn't completely stop their filming or change it--they planned on stopping there and then starting with a new plot in January. Obviously, that WILL be delayed. Once the strike is over, the rest of the season will be made. The producer as a blog that you should check out.

Sylar comes back, but isn't a huge villain. He doesn't have his powers until the end. Adam 1/2 way through becomes evil, but is easily stopped. Molly actually see's Matt Parkman's father in her dreams--he's the boogie man. Like Matt, he can read minds, but also manipulate and control them. Matt learns how to access that ability as the season goes on.

I understand from a website I read a few nights ago, there are only 11 episodes because of the writers strike in America and Series 3 (which is going to be better than 2 - not so good reviews on Series 2) will start in the new year.

There were 24 episodes planned for Season 2 but because of the Writer's strike, only 11 were made. Producers decided to cut the series short at episode 11 and that really sucked ***! It left me hanging so bad I almost cried. Anyways, sorry, got emotional there.
Well there are two bad guys. Syler is there but he lost his powers so he was just trying to find a way to recover them, but the lack of power still did not stop him from killing a few. Adam is another villain but he did not show is true colors till later in the series. Loads of questions were left unanswered because of the strike. The spin off Heroes: Origins was also put on hold because of the strike. That also sucked ***, but what can we do?

So far, I've seen those eleven episodes and each time I was like...what! it's over already...it's that good.

I wonder when they get the DVD out if they'll reduce the price for all those shows that lasted only half a season!?

At Molly's bedside, Matt learns of her ability to find anyone just by thinking about them. Molly reassures him she can't find everyone, Matt thinks she means someone like Sylar, whom she refers to as the Boogeyman, but Molly tells him the man she can't find is "a lot worse" than Sylar, and that she doesn't want to find him "because when I think about him... he can see me."

Matt Parkman asks Molly to do a favor for him, which was to seek out his father's location from the photograph. In a fit of screaming, Molly throws the picture down and says that the "nightmare" that kept finding her was in reality, Matt's father. However, she agrees to help him. When she pinpoints his location, she falls into a lapse of unconsciousness, with Matt shaking her desperately to wake up. The episode ends with Matt hearing Molly in his mind, screaming for help.
