Definitly going with the whole CSI series, I prefer SVU tho. The shows been going on for quite awhile...atleast the 7th season I think.

"Bones", is great. As is the series "Life".

Edit: I forgot about Profiler - also a great show. Thanks Lilith D

There are a few NEW law enforcement type shows on that I think are funny and revealing.

1. Jail (from the makers of Cops)
2. Bait Car - great show about busting car thieves in the act with a decoy car with a kill switch (funny as He** when the crooks are busted)
3. Court TV
4. and Don't forget the classic, America's Most Wanted
