Really depends on when the writer's strike ends. There's 8 episodes ready to go, so no it doesn't matter if Keifer is in jail - his sentence will be up in January, so lots of time to shoot more...if it ends quickely then I would guess Fox will show it this season, but if it carries on too long - it's quite possible we won't see it until 2009

nobody can tell you for sure when it will start and how often you will get a new episode, they're spacing them further apart so they dont just stop

Suppose to be on January 13, 2007. But has been postponed due to the 2007 Writers Guild of America Strike. FOX has not announced when to be aired.

Fox wants to show the season 7 from start to finish with no brakes in between the season, but The Writer's Strike, has made Fox change their minds and wait until the strike is resloved. Season 7 also can't air due to the fact that star Kiefer Sutherland is jail now.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news,but according to TVGuide.com,Fox has indefinitely postponed the new season until they're certain they can produce a full season of episodes that can be aired uninterrupted. So until the strike is over,I'm afraid you're gonna have to settle for reruns possibly until 2009! Bummer!:(
