Will desperate housewives continue and give us another episode of the aftermath of the tornado?

the writers went on strike so they ended desperate housewives. The last episode was the tornado, but i wanna know what happened to lanettes family in the house. do you know if desperate housewives will continue or just quit. im very curious

There's some spoilers:
Carlos is paralyzed, but he doesn鈥檛 tell Gabrielle, who thinks his legs are merely broken. (Carlos may be blind instead of paralyzed)

A memorial service for Victor is at a church is packed with mourners. Gabrielle sits in the front pew, dressed in black. Overcome with emotion, she flees the church.

As the neighbors look on, firefighters rescue the Scavos from Mrs. McCluskey's demolished house. Ida is found dead.

Katherine or Adam finds the note Lillian left. Adam and Katherine ID Sylvia Greene at the morgue; she had the couple's address in her pocket without any other ID. The man claims he knew the woman from outside Fairview and assumed the woman was stopping by to say hello. Katherine's affected by seeing Sylvia, but hides this from the medical examiner.

Mike's at a rehab center. He meets a woman who's there for the third time. He's not interested in attending the group session and the woman realizes he's not ready for it.

Bree wants a contractor to do some emergency repairs on her home. She invites him over for dinner in hopes of buttering him up. (The dinner's at Susan's, thanks to the house damage.) Knowing he's gay and recently single, she makes sure Andrew is present. Complications arise when Susan has her own gay contractor she'd like Andrew to be with.

Lynette and Mrs. McCluskey help Ida Greenberg's nephew load his aunt's possessions into his van. Mrs. McCluskey's upset to learn the man doesn't plan to spread the ashes at a stadium as his aunt wanted. She offers to retrieve the ashes from the Ida's house for the nephew. (Note: the nephew may actually be a niece.) Lynette and Mrs. McCluskey must break into the stadium to spread the ashes, where they're caught by the police. Lynette shakes the ashes out as she runs.

Either Gabrielle or Edie attends the wake of Al, Carlos's accountant, who died in the previous episode. He'd arranged the move of his offshore account before he died by tornado-related injuries. She feigns grief when she meets the man's wife for the first time, but what she wants to know is where his files are. After learning they're nearby, she makes a quick exit.

The writers strike still has not ended so it will not be a new episode tonight. :( :(

Yes, they will. Since it is the holiday season as well, we are getting all the Christmas show right now. They good shows will return after Christmas.

I am so curious to find out who died. I think it was the cat (the close friend) and definitely Gabby's husband). I think everyone else is safe. What a great episode.

hey bad news, the episode after 'somethings coming' - the one with the tornado... will be aired only on 6th january 2007!!!
(cos of the writers strike thingie!)
