It's not really possible to say. You would have to have a natal chart constructed in order to compare it with the chart of a potential partner. The bog standard answer would be another earth sign, i.e. Taurus or Virgo, or possibly your opposite sign which is Cancer but there is an awful lot more to take into account than this.

Other earth signs work best(Cap,Taurus,Virgo) otherwise water signs (Cancer,Pisces,Scorpio).

Virgo supposedly.You need to take into account what the rising sign & moon are in,plus the aspects.I'm a Virgo & I was w/ a Cappy for 19 yrs.so I don't think signs have much to do w/ it.Yes he was supposed to be my perfect match,w/ Virgos perfection is a real burden to carry,but evidently not.He left his son & I to go of & try to recapture his youth.I really DON'T like Capricorn anymore or Aquarius.Those are my 2 least favorite signs.I was raised by aquarians.

In case of a Capri, if the Saturn is weak - the entire picture becomes different. Also - if the ascendant and moon be Cancer, this person displays exactly opposite traits. So ... it's not that there are only 12 kinds of people in this world.

Asking questions like that is not going to convince you. Ask about your natal chart instead, and the answers you get to that question might convince you...

according to most of the astrology books I have read Capricorn is an earth sign which is meant to be compatible with other earth signs Taurus and Virgo I am a Capricorn and my husband is a Taurus.
