Does your Astrological Sign Truly effect who your friends are?

Think hard about your friends signs... I don't know if I believe, but I am capricorn and I find that I tend to attract mostly taurus and virgo as friends, and I stray away from gemini and sag. I mostly date cancer and Leo. u?

It effects you are compatible with ..but remember just because you're attracted to someone doesn't mean you're compatible...These friends could be filling a void in you..

You maybe attracting fiery signs for or a little spice but long term companionship is less likely. maybe its certain colours you wear...Earth signs should stick with earth signs...hang out with a Taurus..not all of us are boring yanno.

Nope. My friends just "happen to be" whatever signs they are. I have noticed a bit of a trend in the people I haven't gotten along with (mainly Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, and sometimes Pisces, but not usually). But I don't go around saying: "you were born on this date, so I'm not talking to you."

That's dumb.

But maybe it does have an effect, because my Sun's in the eleventh house and I do tend to attract a lot of Leos. Whole bunch of Virgos too.

I don't judge potential boyfriends by sign. However I apparently do have a good eye for guessing their entire chart just by their behaviour, and generally ask their birth data after I've guessed to see how much of it matches up.


Generally, most of my friends have their sun in a mutable sign. Then cardinal. I generally don't get along with fixed signs, they're too... fixed. Only few have it in a water sign, and the majority has the sun in a fire sign. Earth and Air come a second.

My best friend at the moment is an aries, another best friend a sagittarius, both male. Then there is a virgo friend but since I don't know him that well yet, I can't really call him my best friend. The others I've known for years. As for female friends, my best friends manage to have birthdays falling between late november and late january. One's a sagittarius and another one's a capricorn. And a few pisces thrown in the mix.

Of potential boyfriends, strangely enough, I've noticed that there is an equal divide between the 3 qualities and the 4 elements.

Andrew, I would like to know where you got your information. The earliest known archaeological found very closely related to astrology was dated centuries before the Roman empire even existed...

PS; the daily horoscopes were brought to life by an astrologer in 1930. And, of course, a generalisation.

I'm an Aries and I have friends from EVERY sign...I think the only sign I haven't had much experience with is cancer...My good friends are Aquarius, Pisces, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius andCapricorn...and apparently I shouldn't get along with Scorpio but my best friend of over 10 years is a Scorpio and my fiancee who I've been with for 5 is a scorpio as well...soooooo

In terms of romantic relationships, I do find myself attracted to those compatible with my sun sign, Libra. I like other Libras, Aquarians, and Sagittarians. And my relationships with them are pretty successful compared to relationships with other signs. Though I'm supposed to be compatible with Leo as well, my relationship with a Leo man wasn't as nice as expected.

In terms of friendships though, I find myself having many Capricorn, Virgo, and Cancer friends! Totally doesn't match with my Libra sun, but it does match with my Capricorn ascendent and Virgo moon, so that's how I explain that. My friends get to know me better and see my deep Virgo moon but are originally drawn to my Capricorn rising. Though I have to say, some Cancers can drive me absolutely nuts with their moodiness!

I also find myself attracted to Pisces people, as friends and as more than friends. I don't know why. Can't explain that one!

I'm a virgo and my best friend she's a Tourus and we get along very well....We some how think the same way and we help each other and we get along very easy. I think it depends on the rising sign though. I have a Aries friend and a Aquarius friend and a scorpio friend and i get along with them. I get along with gemini and sag but it just that we dont have something really in common with. I always have something in common with leos cuz you can talk about anything with them. A virgo, i dont kno about August virgos but sept virgo....they get on my nerves even though i'm a august virgo. August virgos are much cooler and less critical then sept virgos in my opinion. Capricorn are really cool and fun and i always having fun with a capricorn. I dont get along with a guy who is a rising gemini!! I think they are mean. I get along with libras. Scorpios are easy to hang out with. I date leo guys and cancer, scorpio, and libras. i stay away from gemini. I'm a rising capricorn.

no. I'm a Pisces and I have al0t of air sign friends and I get along with them best other than water signs. It could be though that i have alot of air signs in my chart too.

The zodiac was created by a Roman philosopher who had very little knowledge of astronomy and for some inexplicable reason people still believe it. If you read any of the daily horoscopes, you will see that many of them could apply to you. It is similar to cold reading, you want it to be true so you look for the aspects that are most in your favor and dismiss those that you disagree with, so does that give the horoscopes any credibility at all? My advice is to wait and when you find a person you like, it won't matter what day and month they were born on. Is all I'm saying is to have skepticism when you see things like the zodiac, which has no scientific foundations and has never been proven to be true.
