Lower types and higher types?

I was reading about cancer(star sign) on yahoo answers and someone said that ''lower types'' of cancer are greedy, mean, indolent, extremely sensitive, etc.
''Higher types'' were said to be hard-working,peace loving, devoted to family and good members of society.
Now...what are higher types and lower types?

I agree with Blind Existence.
But it is not a black or white/either-or situation. People can show positive and negative traits depending on situations.

Just the way their buttons are pushed.

I know a Cancer woman who is very generous when she is appreciated but the meanest and playing "poor me..the martyr" when she does not get attention.

I do not think you can categorise very easily like that and make sweeping statements...about anybody in fact !

Higher types are what you call the 'more evolved'.
Usually, the higher you are, the more you have progressed. This is what they mean.

Lower types are the 'lesser evolved' and daresay unenlightened.

The difference is that the first type exhibits positive traits for the good of society as a whole. while the lower types are seedy and cause trouble.

Those classified as 'higher types' shouldn't be feeling superior though, because we are all capable of both - the potential is in us, and we choose whcih way to act according to our disposition and value structures.

What I know is their are 4 signs for everybody. Sun Moon Venus and mars. Venus is who you love. Ive never heard of higher and lower types. I think someone is pulling your leg. You wanna get deeper into it Chinese Zodiacs tell you more. They have 12 animals too.

ive never heard of this terminology, sounds like something made up.

a Cancer like all signs have Pro's and Con's. i dont care who you are, but you have them.

although some people show the more positive aspects of their sign if its aspected properly.

if its not favourably aspected it shows stress on the planets expression of itself, and instead it gives mixed signals

Some posters here should read a little. Their are different kinds of love. Venus can be lust, or beautiful love....Mars can be a doctor who saves lives (higher) or a killer with a gun (lower) type.... Moon can be imaginative like an actor, or a lunatic in a hospital.
As for Cancer, they are emotional people who either work in hospitals or the stock market. This said, the lower type, which is in not way negative, is more sensitive to human live and loves the public like the higher type except, the signprefers to stay in the background, raise a family, and be a good mother or father. The higher type will be more outward, more in the public, BUT, will always return to home SWEET home. both are good.
The higher type is usually referred to Astrologers as myself, where Neptune, Uranus are well developed and tine Mercury and Moon making us more attuned to the higher mind. Not many people are attuned to these planets and it doesn't make us any different.. We still love PARTIES AT CHRISTMAS.
