Why do you suppose that the surgery to deliver a baby is called a "Cesarean?"? |
-no need to refer to Wikipedia. I have always had the belief that Aurelia Cotta (Ceasar's mother) was a strong believer in Astrology. She wanted her baby born on a certain day to ensure that his natal blueprint would be a great leader. She planned for this procedure during her pregnancy if she did not go into labor on this particular day. Prior to this time, women did not survive this procedure, and it was only used to save the fetus. She had the procedure done and both she and the baby survived. It was then that the procedure was called a "Cesarean." I do not know the source of this info nor if it can be confirmed. Perhaps the details of the truth is lost in history. History: Legend has it that the Roman leader Julius Caesar was delivered by this operation, and the procedure was named after him. However, Caesar's mother lived many years after his birth, and at that time, the operation most likely caused death in the mother. In addition, no mention is made of this procedure prior to the Middle Ages; therefore, Caesar鈥檚 contribution to the naming of this operation is practically impossible. The most likely origin for the term is in reference to a Roman law created in the 8th century BC that ordered the procedure in the last few weeks of a pregnancy in dying women to save the child's life. I was going to wiki this too! Because that's how Julius Cesear was born. i dont know......ask a doctor....... its probably linked with Julius Caesars struggles for power. just as the baby struggles for life. nothing fact about this, i just came up with it. |
