How do you know when a scorpio has forgiven you? Are they subtle about this?

From an optimistic point of view, if it were possible I mean. I don't feel that I have done anything horrible, just took some sarcastic jokes the wrong way and became a little offended on a couple of occasions.

I have a cousin whose a scorpio and hes also my best friend.
we hang around often before just not much today but..

everytime we see each other he keeps bringing up stuff that upsetted him when we were kids. thats more than 10 years! and were very wittle then.
he kinda just lets me know that he still remembers.

you see, they can forgive but its hard for them to forget.
even if they forgive you, youd still doubt it coz somehow he still feels like it happened yesterday.

I am a scorpio. Sometimes it is hard for me to forgive someone, but it depends on what they did. If it is something that is minor, then I just sorta blow it off. If it is major, then I will wait for them to confront me and ask for my forgiveness. I will mainly just forgive them after that. It just takes time.

i betrayed my scorpio best friend in the worst kind of way. we have just recently became good friends again after 5 years. the people above me are right, scorpios NEVER forgive or if they do, it will take a lot longer than you expect. just when you start to forget about what happened is usually when they will come around. time heals all!

Well once my scorpio friend forgives me, I'll tell you what its like when a scorpio forgives you....

A week before my affair ended with a Scorpio , I was ill, drugged up and on a rampage with my family. After 2 hours trying to sleep I had a voice mail that they did not care anymore and cursed me out for not being there for them. I called back and I was fired up. I told them that I could not pursue anything at all anymore with them. I was pissed beyonds means and then told them what I was going through... I was told it hurt them and that they had to stay on their toes because what I said was not premeditated...I got twisted even more... They could not deal with being rejected. So they told me that it was my choice to continue or stop it now. I decided to stay with the affair...with in that week I was constantly reminded of what I said ... I ignored it. Now midweek and received a text that they where going through a life threating situation and could not continue ... I sensed other wise and realized that this was their way of getting back.
Revenge hmmmm...absolutey...But my experiences wiwth Scopio's is that they have come back to me and just started talking to me like nothing happened and do not bring things back up. Then keep it moving.
They can be spiteful , bitter and vendictive... because they are hurt or upset at themselves ... But in my experiences have always comeback. And I am an Aquarius... and the longest relationship I have had has been maybe 8 yrs with a Scorpio on and off til they moved to another state but we are still close ... but now as friends...It is up to them and when they are ready...to forgive give space and keep it moving.

My mom is a Scorpio and she will hold a grudge against you for the stupidest thing and for a very long time! Her basic method isn't to get mad or yell but to give short blunt answers or totally ignore you which only makes a person feel even worse even when they shouldn't be feeling bad at all! You have to give them there time and space and ignore them too. Ironically they hate to be ignored themselves (though it's ok to do it to others!) A Scorpio will come around when they're good and ready and you'll know when but they will never let it go or let you forget what you did! Just ignore it when they bring it up again. Scorpios are such good hearted, generous people who always put others before themselves but they are often stubborn and pretty unreasonable.

Im a scorpio and i dont think we have a problem with forgivness I think its the forgetting issue thats not something we do well especially when we are hurting.my husband is a cancer and i am more forgiving than him.I really think the main issue is regaining trust Scorpios are very secrettive so she will be subtle but just let her stew if she is talking to you at all then she has forgave you but dont ever get on a scorpios bad side again or you will see the stinger come out like I said we dont forget.

I am a Scorpio and usualy when something has been done bad on me, i go quiet and egnore them because i feel anger and do not want to let it out so i ask them to leave it

if they keep asking what is wrong i loose my temper and then they get hurt with my words, if i am left alone i will calm down and speak to them if it is not too bad, if it was bad then i will not talk for ages.

I don't think they forgive or forget easily. I met this scorpio guy and went out with him about a month ago. First night we went out, I failed to introduce him to a male friend of mine and he has not let me forget about it since. It is pretty tedious and the relationship probably won't go much further. It seems if you do the least little thing that they don't like, they dwell on it and won't let it go.......I just want to tell him to forget about it and go on, but it won't do any good.

No they don't. I'm a Cancer with a Scorpio rising and I don't forget anything. From strangers, family or friends nothing. They will pretend but they always think about it every time they see you. I always get revenge in my mind

I have a scorpio fiancee and I think forgiving is easy for a scorpio. Forgetting now...not so much. They never forget anything. Whereas I'm an aries and we hold grudges for like hmmmm...5 minutes. lol...A scorpio will carry that forever. so even though they have forgiven you and what you've done, they will not forget it and might bring it up from time to time. I realize what you have to do with a scorpio is ignore them when they have not forgiven u as yet. When they're good and ready, they will definitely come back around.

Scorpio here. Anything petty/any sort of misunderstanding does not require any big "I'm sorries" from the other party to me. Everyone is different. If I already know the person to be a good decent being, I will re-realize this; and will likely recall some of MY slights, and be thankful and appreciative of how big of a person they were when I was not that easy to be around. So just give it some time. For me, as well as just about anyone, other troubles/frustrations in life, could have blown a very fickle thing out of proportion.

To answer your question - yes I am subtle after a "blow out" with a friend. If something really got me that angry, then I would worry about if I overreacted and hurt "your" feelings. So I would want to reapproach my friend in a very tame fashion. If no harm has been done, the friendship will resume naturally, and all will be forgotten in no time.

Now, if someone says or does something that could cause me any type of harm, I will walk away from that friendship. By what you describe, this was just a misunderstanding/ difference in communcation, and nothing meant to hurt your friend. So, again, just give it a little time. A good ice breaker is a funny story. Try to have a laugh together - it does wonders. By your Yahoo name, I'm guessing your a Gemini. Most Gemini's are quite humorous. Give it a try!

A scorpio can see right through you, and if you are trying to pull the wool over his eyes, you got something else coming to you.

They get what they via an unrelenting do or die approach. Step on the Scorpion and they will never forget it. They will plot and scheme until they get you back. Somehow. Someway. They have a reputation for being vengeful and they're secretive. They keep secrets because they think that they will get something out of it. They just don't believe in telling the enemy what they're up to, no matter how seemingly insignificant. Makes sense to me.

These folks can turn vindictive in no time flat. Luckily, once Scorpions catch their breath, they will return to their usual determined and loyal (albeit strong-willed) ways.
