If you were BORN PREMATURE - here's a horoscope theory that's wild, what do you think?

If you or someone you know was born premature.....

I heard someone once say that horoscope actually is based on when you were CONCEIVED, not when you were born. So for example, I'm a Libra---not because I was born in September but because I was conceived in January.

SO DO THIS--if you were born prematurely, go back and see when you SHOULD have been born and look at THAT horoscope sign and tell me if it fits you better.

I know it sounds crazy, but I think it might actually work! Let me know what you think!

Very interesting theory,,,but the word Horoscope comes from the Greek work "horo" meaning hour meaning the time you were born...Personally I love being a Leo and every person has a destiny...so we were all born when we were born for a reason...So it doesn't really matter if you were born early or later...Therefore if anyone feels like they could identify better with another sign...they should read their natal chart...For me I have alot of water sign traits even though I'm a Leo...Also i have a Pisces dad and a Scorpio and a Pisces sister..so your environment has alot to do with it also...So keep on researching cause you never know....Good Luck

Hmmm. I never thought of it like this but maybe you are onto something. I was born early. I do seem to fit better as a Scorpio.

Or, possibly, large bodies of rock and/or gas millions and billions of miles away have no influence on your personality or impact on your daily life.

no its all about the birthtime and place...im definitely Pisces...i was supposed to be born Aquarius but that didnt happen...i was very late..

No, in my case it does not work. I am Scorpio through and through although I was suppose to be born a Saggitarius.

Well I wish it would help me...but I was born, according to my mom, 2 months early, but my birth weight would suggest I was not as early as that. Probably more 4-6 weeks is more likely. Sooo...I'm an aries, guessing I shoulda been a taurus or a gemini. Not sure. but I don't seem to fit both. I'm really Aries in terms on description but now that i discovered recently I have a Virgo Ascendant, I can see how some of that comes out in me as well.

This does'nt really apply to me. I am a leo sun & I was conceived under the scorpio sign. I am a scorpio rising. But that is due to my family back ground. My grandmother is a scorpio sun & my mother is a cancer sun. So like genetics you inherit your signs too. My grandfather is a leo sun. See the pattern?

I am pisces and my dad is a scorpio and my mom is also a scorpio. So yeah they are divorced so my mom hates my dad and my dad hates my mom. Just liKe a scorpio brawl.

Instead of considering possibly astrology being wrong, you are changing the rules to try and make it fit. That is cheating. Everyone know that astrology is the best bigoted concept ever.

Besides, how can you determine when you should have been born? What time for that rising sign or the rest of the chart you should have had? Also now in vitro embryos can be frozen (science wrecks astrology again) for a long time, far past normal conception to birth period. So instead of premature, there can be prolonged. But then it's possible to have a prolonged premature birth too.

Nope... we still get the signs characteristic and personality based on when we are born....not on when we should be born... I just want to remind you that we still have what we called the ASCENDANT sign on astrology which is based solely on the exact time and date of birth... So if you happens to be a premature and your sign may not be fitting to your personality then you must have a strong ascendant or even a moon sign...

No. I disagree. I am a Double Taurus with a Scorpio rising and I fit all if not most of the Traits.

Actually, you are somewhat correct, in that your rising sign at actual birth will indicate 99% of the time the sign the moon was in when you were conceived. And aspects to that and your rising sign and its ruler will generally indicate whether you are born premature or "on time". Bottom line, your birth chart will indicate when you actually chose to be born and come into this life by whatever means, and not when you were "supposed to," by others. Your soul knows what's best for it and when to incarnate or not to, and at what specific time and place.
