I'm an Aquarius (Feb. 12) and I'm a water bearer. But my element is AIR. Tell me why this is.?

I mean the picture (web site w/picture below) has a girl with something that looks like WATER in her hands. Why is my element AIR?? Grrr and don't say I'm stupid I'm just curious (I know there are ppl out there who think the same!!!)

The elemental qualities don't particularly relate to the constellation image. The Water-Bearer is just the shape the pattern of stars in that constellation happened to resemble when it was named.
