Is the most common sign in a person's natal chart more dominant than their ascendant or sun??

my chart has 4 planets capricorn , 2 houses capricorn and even in the mean node capricorn is there....

good question because nobody agrees on that one.

For some (and me) the Sun is what we actuallly strive to perfect..our ego. People believe that they have mature since day one.

Other people (more into spiritual path etc) think that the ascendant is more important and what we should aim for..past lives, that kind of thing.

Frankly in my opinion it depends on the chart....if your Sun let's say is positioned in the 12th house or conjunct Neptune or other myriads of combinations) it can be dificult to find the "self".

But if on the other hand the sun also finds itself in the first house - might be a pisces conjunct Neptune also -..then well..depends what the person wants to chose to express. High creativity or......really the opposite.

You have a stellium in Capricorn so that should be given a lot of attention.

All the planets, signs, combination, house placement have to be taken into consideration. There are so many things to ponder upon and it takes a lot of time and you have to question how mature the person is etc etc etc..

For my part :I look at EVERYTHING...and take age , environment, parents, upbringing ( Saturn , moon and sun) into consideration as well as where they are at at the moment.

If you are around 18 I pay more attention to the 4t house because that is where lots of drama is going to take place.

What is your date, time and place of birth. This really helps. I'd say you ought to have a lot of capricorn characteristics; however that will be offset by where they fall in your chart, which planets they are, and the strength of your sun and ascendant. Let me know.

as I believe it, its not so much who you think you are, but what you do towards who you are, and this is the work of the Ascendant.
the chart ruler is about the external self, i mean what you think if not put into action is nothing.

its not about who you think you are, but what you do about it is what defines us.

although it also depends on the whole chart. lets say you DO have a bunch of capricorns, but you have a Virgo ascendant. aha! that means all your capricorn planets could easily work with the ascendant, this brings harmony and your chart ruler would still be obviously the ascendant.

if its afflicted it could be a different case, it also depends on how powerful your ascendant is. if its the first decant, 10 degrees or below, this is as powerful as it can get.

im sorry im gettin a bit technical.

but anyway, i can tell you now that i have 3 planets in capricorn including my sun and i think 1 in the houses.

and theres no way I act outwardly as a capricorn, my dreams and aspirations are different, but my capricorn makes sure i get there.

you need to post your whole chart, as every aspect and sign in a planet makes the difference

Especially when the rising is there as well and when those planets are in the 1st house.

Also a majority of planets in 1 house will make that house very dominant.
